Amelia’s parents came in to play some holiday Jazz music for us.  We were entertained by many carols and got to participate in the Twelve Days of Christmas.  The kids loved singing along with all of the songs.  Enjoy the pictures and videos! We sure did!

Mady’s grandma (Nona) came in last week to spread some holiday and winter cheer.  She read us a Tacky the Penguin book and we had a special snack.  We also made these adorable penguins.  We love having special guests share their talents with us! 

These Third Graders sure know how to run a business!  We had a very successful garlic sale! Here are some pictures of the two-day sale.

Thanks to Riley’s mom, Amy,  for these amazing Photos!  We now have background knowledge of a dairy farm to make our garlic butter.

How can you not enjoy a 70 degree day in November!?!  3A spent some time soaking up the sunshine (and vitamin D) and getting cursive done.  The all earned an a+ in sun bathing!  I sure hope we get some more days like this! 

The third graders had a blast with Halloween this year!  We all enjoyed seeing everyone’s costumes! 

The students of 3rd grade are working diligently on their interviews.  They have learned how to take part of the question and combine it with the answer, to make one terrific sentence.  For example:  If the question asks “how does his or her job contribute to the community”, they have to write:  “Her job contributes …
