My favorite part of the chapter was when Keith found Ralph. Ralph is a mouse,Keith is a boy. Ralph was in the trash. Keith and Ralph could communicate because they loved motorcycles. Keith and Ralph were good friends right away. Keith even let Ralph ride his motorcycle.

In chapter 9, Jenny was thinking about how to write a letter. She thought she should write many yes and no questions and the date. Jenny thought it was going to be hard, but it was not. The next day, she read to Sameera. She tried to teach Sameerra how to write a letter, but sameerra had to go to ELA. Jenny did not know what ELA was. She asked the teacher and the teacher said ‘English as a Second Language’.

My favorite part of Dear Whiskers so far is when Jenny meets Sameera. What happened was that she learned that Sameera came from Saudi Arabia.

The 3rd grade has been learning a wonderful way to remember the 50 states. They had to look at the state shape, name, and capital to come up with a silly sentence that helps them remember the state. We saw that Minnesota actually looks like a mini soda! They had a lot of fun coming up with ideas for this activity. Here is what they shared at assembly today!

My favorite part of chapter 4 is when Mrs. Stele passed out the letters and Jenny did not get a letter back from her second grader, Sameera. Sameera had moved from Saudi Arabia with her family.

My favorite part of chapter 3 in The Mouse and The Motorcycle was when Ralph tried to use the apple core to put on top of the motorcycle. He was trying to do this because he wanted to get out of the trash can!

My favorite part of the book is when Jenny is writing to her second grader named Sameera. She is pretending to be a mouse named ”Whiskers.”Whiskers is a mouse that has four brothers. Jenny had to write four or five sentences.
She is asking her friends for advice for her letters.`
