This week was AWESOME!

In Social Studies we studied the Erie Canal! There were different groups that worked on getting information on different parts of the canal.  Some people made a PowerPoint, a timeline, a diorama, a map, and a skit.

In writing we have been finishing our persuasive paragraphs. Don’t be surprised if the fourth graders get their way!

In math we are studying the Erie Canal by the numbers.  Now that is cool!

I hope the kids have had an awesome week, I know I did! Have a good weekend.

For the past few weeks, Lama Tenzin has been working on a sand mandala in the gallery. The students have watched and listened carefully and have learned a lot from our wise friend, Lama Tenzin. Today we attended the dismantling ceremony. Here are some pictures.
