Batteries and LEDs! Before break, we learned all about batteries. We discovered that they store electricity to be used later, and that in order to use the ele ctricity, we have to connect our LED Leads to the positive (+) and the negative (-) contacts on the batteries. We also found out that LED stands for Light Emitting Diode and that LEDs have positive and negative leads or wires. The positive lead is always longer. With our new knowledge, we created creatures and objects that light up!
