PE is a great way to stay active.We play lots lots of games.PE stands for physical education.We work on good sportsmanship and team work.

Stem toys in 3rd grade
In third grade, we have light up Legos (Lazer Pegs), Lego sets, Bionic blocks, and jenga blocks. Sometimes, we get to play with them in the morning. We also have choice time (sometimes) where we can play with them. The reason we do this is because Mrs. Oettinger likes to build a lot.

Our First Garden Lesson
We had our first lesson in the garden last week! Mr. Hartman’s team gave us a tour of the garden, and we had a scavenger hunt! We found many new plants and vegetables. We even got to sample some delicious tomatoes and apples! Third Graders love to work in the garden. Each week we will be out here exploring, digging and planting. In the cold weather, we can work in the green house. A famers job is never done!

A New School Year has Begun!
Hello to all. We are officially in full swing in third grade. Your children are learning what it means to organize a desk, a locker, and be able to sit with out a teacher at lunch! The children are adjusting wonderfully and are making many new friends!
. They have been working hard for us so far and we want to share some moments of the first weeks of school with you!

2014 New School year – Spaghetti for Social Studies
Welcome to another school year! We love these eager, fun-loving students! During our social studies unit on community, the students worked together in teams to build the tallest standing spaghetti and marshmallow tower that they could build. They are learning about teamwork and what it means to be a part of a community. After this task we brainstormed what it means to be a good citizen. Great job group.

another chapter of THE DRAGONS OF BLUELAND!
I am on chapter 8 and 9 today! We are supposed to write our favorite part of the chapter. Please say this is my last time going on the blog for this book because my fingers are getting tired 
. so my favorite part of the chapter was when Elmer was on the dragons back. Then once they got to the ground, Elmer was REALLY sick. No offense to Elmer, but it was kind of funny. I bet this is Elmer’s face to the dragon once he got to the ground
. I’m almost done with the book I only need to read 2 more chapters! I’m sorry but this might be my last time on the blog for the year 
. But i might make ONE more blog about last day lemonade I don’t know though.

The Mouse and the Motorcycle
My favorite part in this book is where Ralph finds the motorcycle and rids it. Then he rids it into the trash can. So there was a apple core in the trash and Ralph ate it, and then he went to sleep. He was awoken by foot steps coming to the room. A boy that owned the motorcycle went looking for the motorcycle and looked in the trash can. He took the motorcycle and saw Ralph. He let Ralph rid the motorcycle.Then it was time for the boy Keath to go to bed. Keath let Ralph rid the motorcycle in the hall. He saw all the rooms and looked down stairs. He wished he could go down stairs.

Pugsley
My book was called Pugsley . My favorite part was when Pugsley ripped all the pillows apart. I think the puppy place is a great series. Make sure you read it! I also like the part when Pugsley gets adopted from Lizzie’s aunt . If you want to find out if Pugsley ever learns manners, then read this book.

Third Grade Angels
Chapter 11 is called “Perfect” . Suds is perfect in chapter 11. Chapter 11 is about Suds being perfect. He dose every thing right in math , reading and geography. But he thinks the teacher is not watching. He gets upset and that is chapter 11. Now chapter 12… well it is called “Back to Bad” . Suds is bad because he thinks the teacher is not watching . So he is bad and that all. I think he is going to get in trouble.
