I like when Humphrey got in the bright blue car. I like it because he was spinning like crazy.

The Mouse and the Motorcycle, chapter 1 by Jack
One day the Gridleys were driving from Ohio to a hotel in California (The Mountain View Inn).
The Gridleys have a boy named Keith. As soon as they got there Mrs. Gridley started complaining about how it was out of style, old, and that it might have mice. As soon as the Gridleys told Keith he could have his own room, however, he was delighted. He got out his toy cars and an orange, shiny motorcycle and played with them. He came back in and his mother said,”I don’t care what the bellboy said, I think there are mice””I hope so,” muttered Keith.

Dear Wiskers
In reading, we are reading “Dear Whiskers”. My favorite part about chapter 4 is when Mrs. Steele is passing out the letters and Jenny dose not get one.

dear whiskers
My favorite part of the chapter is the letter.
Dear Sameera,
Make-believe is fun.Pretend there is a mouse in your desk.Pretend that the mouse has four brothers who live in the teachers lounge. The four brothers drink the teachers’ coffee. It isn’t good for young mice to drink coffee, but they do it anyway.
sincerely,
whiskers

Dear Whiskers
Chapter 2 was about writing the second graders back. They read the second grader’s letter. Jenny’s penpal wrote “there is no mouse living in your desk”. If I was jenny I would write what sport do you play and what color is your hair?

Dear Whiskers Chapter Two
I am Alice and in reading class, I am reading “Dear Whiskers” – Chapter Two. My favorite part of chapter two is when she reads her letter to the class, “NO MOUSE IN DESK”.
Sameera wrote the letter to Jenny (the main character). From my standpoint, it needs a lot of work compared to what Susan (Jenny’s classmate) got:
“I am happy to have a frend living in my desk. Do you have any brothers or sisters? They can live in my desk too. There is room for everyone. I rily like rodints.” -Daniel
Lots of errors in that letter, but it is longer than “no mouse in desk”.
